THE NASAL VESTIBULE

Description : The area from the entrance of the nose up to the nasal valve is called the nasal vestibule. The nasal vestibule is lined by skin which contains numerous short coarse hairs, the vibrissae, which act as a primitive air filter removing large particulate matter from the inspired air.
