NASOPHARYNGITIS

Description : Chronic mucosal infection of the nasopharynx is uncommon. The Yellowish crust and central area of infection in the nasopharynx of this patient suggests the presence of an area of "chronic adenoiditis" which in some cases is due to a focus of infection in a Thornwaldt's bursa.
